Community Outreach Program

CACC is partnering with non-profit organizations in the community to provide opportunities for our members to help neighbors and friends in need. Donations will be collected at each of the CACC meetings.

February 8, 2012  Dress for Success Charlotte

Dress for Success Charlotte is an organization that promotes economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in everyday life.CACC encourages you to gather any slightly used accessories including jewelry, handbags, belts, scarves or portfolios and bring them to the meeting to be donated to this worthy cause.Members are welcome to donate new items as well as bring gift certificates or checks made out to Dress for Success Charlotte.Click here for more information or visit www.dressforsuccess.org.


·May 9, 2012 Classroom Central

Classroom Central uses the donations to supply Charlotte area teachers and students with the materials they need for learning. Schools are in session until mid-June and supplies are still very much needed. Please bring pens, pencils, paper and any other school supplies to the CACC meeting in May. Your support is needed so no child goes without.Monetary donations by cash or checks are also accepted.

·August 29, 2012  Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

The Second Harvest Food Bank provides a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies which assist people in need. Examples of these agencies are Urban Ministries soup kitchens, and Loaves and Fishes emergency food bank. Every $1.00 donation provides 7 pounds of food. Please bring your cash donation or non-perishable food items to this meeting.

·November 14, 2012 Charlotte Rescue Mission

The Charlotte Rescue Mission provides residential programs for homeless, jobless men and women with alcohol and drug addiction issues. CACC will collect lightly used coats to donate to the Rescue Mission.
