CACC's Community Outreach Program

CACC is partnering with non-profit organizations in the community to provide opportunities for our members to help neighbors and friends in need. Donations will be collected at each of the CACC meetings.


Communities In Schools / Charlotte-Mecklenburg

Communities In Schools® (CIS™) surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life by helping students to confront and overcome personal challenges and structural barriers.


Classroom Central
Classroom Central uses the donations to supply Charlotte area teachers and students with the materials they need for learning. Schools are in session until mid-June and supplies are still very much needed. Please bring pens, pencils, paper and any other school supplies to the CACC meeting in May. Your support is needed so no child goes without. Monetary donations by cash or checks are also accepted. Click here for more information.



Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina
The Second Harvest Food Bank provides a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies which assist people in need. Examples of these agencies are Urban Ministries soup kitchens, and Loaves and Fishes emergency food bank. Every $1.00 donation provides 7 pounds of food. Charlotte Bridge Home
Charlotte Bridge Home helps Charlotte veterans successfully transition home after military service by identifying their education, employment and healthcare needs and connecting them to available community, state and federal resources.  Click here for more information.
