Hope all of you are enjoying the summer months so far. This is the time of year employees take advantage of Paid Time Off benefits to enjoy a trip to the beach, mountains, Disney World, or another destination of choice. Paid Time Off benefits is something most companies offer - along with several of other benefits and perks.

According to a Randstad Survey featured in WorldatWork's Workspan magazine, 66% of employees agree that a strong benefits and perks package is the largest determining factor when considering job offers. As you can imagine, it's not just about what you offer, but whether you offer a variety of benefits and communicate those offerings to employees?  According to this study, 48% of employees said they knew all the perks their organization offers and 40% said their organization helped them understand the benefits that are available.

As unemployment remains low, strategies to hiring and retaining top performers have risen in priority among employers. Experts suggest that leveraging total reward elements simultaneously, remaining agile in total reward offerings, and optimizing internal processes and procedures will be critical to long-term success!
