From the Chair

2020 Board Chair

Hello CACC Members!

I hope this message once again finds all of you and your families healthy and well.  I know many of us are preparing for or have already begun our year end activities, it's a busy time of year for sure!

Your CACC Board continues to work to be able to provide virtual opportunities which support your ongoing professional development.  We look forward to seeing you again virtually at our November 4 member meeting for a very timely discussion about building resilient compensation strategies.  We also encourage you to take advantage of WorldatWork's e-learning platform as you work toward your certifications.

Thank you for your continued membership with CACC.

Real-Time Compensation in 2020

In 2020 our world has changed rapidly. In compensation, timely and accurate data is always vital-and this year it's more important than ever. Due to COVID-19, the cards have been reshuffled, and it's even more difficult to keep up with the changing and fast-moving labor market.

What can you do if your budget's been cut, or your go-to industry surveys are not running this year? What are my options? How can you get accurate market data?

Join us on November 4th as Payfactors' Chief Experience Officer, Russ Wakelin, discusses industry-specific COVID-19 findings, how hard-hit industries have adjusted quickly, and how real-time data can help.

This session will cover COVID-19 trending jobs and how to obtain current, real-time data from your industry to put you in a position to stay competitive.

The November meeting will be held virtually. Be sure to register for the meeting through the online event calendar so you receive the log-in details.

Education Update

The way we are working, and learning, has changed during 2020!  Take advantage of e-learning to enhance your knowledge of Total Rewards while practicing social distancing.  E-learning is self-paced, and the student learns through recorded content.  WorldatWork is also offering the option to take exams from your own home so you do not need to wait to obtain or maintain WorldatWork certifications. This is a great method to use while we navigate our changing environment.

We are currently not offering on site classes and will continue to evaluate our options.  We will resume on site classes when it is safe to do so.  For more information or to register, contact: WorldatWork Customer Relations at (877) 951-9191 or visit www.worldatwork.org.  Register for e-learning and use the code CACCTR2020.
