Hello CACC Members!

Welcome to our new members, we are looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming member meeting!   I hope all our members are getting some time away from work to enjoy summer. We are excited about our member meeting in August, and I hope everyone will be able to clear some time to spend with us on August 7th.  Dr. Scott Cawood, President and CEO of WorldatWork will be joining us.  Whether you are new in your career in the total awards arena or a seasoned professional in this space, this is a meeting you will want to attend.  You can also bring a guest for a nominal fee to join you.

As you are planning for the rest of the year, and reflecting on development opportunities, be sure to consider CACC's upcoming courses.  We are offering C8 Business Acumen and T4 Strategic Communication in October.

I hope everyone has a great summer!

A Rewarding Future!

Today, every organization is being challenged to rethink its strategy, including how it competes for and engages with workers in an ever-changing world. Given the criticality of engaging the right talent, it's time to find new ways to create fun and rewarding workplaces. Now is the time for rewards professionals to step in and reshape the workplace experience to engage and align people in more meaningful ways.

Businesses will continue to become increasingly challenged to effectively respond to a diverse, global, and fast-moving world.  Despite these challenges, rewards professionals are uniquely suited to help an organization and its workers perform.  A well designed and meaningful total rewards program is the necessary conduit between what an organization needs to do and the people who will do it.  While this is a huge responsibility, it also speaks to the impact total rewards can have on any organization. Delivering on the critical components for organizational success requires rewards professionals who are prepared to adapt, respond and actively work to align people with where their organizations - and the world - are going.

Join us at our next member meeting on Wednesday, August 7th, from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the Employers Association as WorldatWork President & CEO, Scott Cawood, joins us to discuss the unique role today's professionals play in helping organizations make the connection between highly effective organizations and deeply meaningful rewards that ultimately place your organization ahead of your competitors.

Please register for the meeting here.

NOTE: Breakfast/Networking will begin at 8:30am, with the meeting from 9am - 10:30am

We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to summer. It's been a busy few months and like the majority you were either attending a graduation, or graduation yourself, staying indoors to beat the heat or joining millions of Americans making the trek to their summertime beaches to enjoy the sunshine.  Either way, you weren't bored I am sure. Normally, this is the "quiet time" for compensation professionals.  A time when we can work on salary surveys, review historical data, begin looking at mid-year performance impacts, etc.  But that "quiet time" has slowly dissipated over the years, and we are in a constant state of "go."  And if you are like me, it's becoming more and more difficult to keep your arms around the changes to our compensation landscape and other areas within our organizations that affect our total rewards strategy. But do not fret, CACC can help!

Where can CACC help? CACC membership offers you great networking and educational activities each year.

Benefits to CACC Membership:
