From the Chair
Hello CACC Members,
We had a fantastic meeting this September with Steve Greene on the FLSA Overtime Exemption Standards. Graciously, Steve shared his powerpoint presentation, along with some additional documents, that will be saved out on our CACC website under the members only section. In addition, we truly want to thank all of you for bringing in can goods for Second Harvest; it was appreciated!
It is almost time for our Fall Social – and our creative Member Meetings Director, Sheryl Solomon, has identified an outing that I believe everyone will enjoy! Please see below for more information on the social, and about our next meeting, which will be held on November 11th. Towers Watson will be hosting a roundtable discussion on current trends and hot topics. I hope that you are able to participate with us and come ready to ask all of your burning questions!
In closing, I encourage you to take a moment and read a message below from Megan Blankemeyer, our Vice Chair, on participating in a roundtable to gain your direct feedback on all things CACC. We hope to see you there!
Best,
Teresa Newman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP 2015 CACC Chair
