CACC Volunteers at Classroom Central
On Monday, September 29th, ten CACC members participated in CACC’s first volunteer activity with Classroom Central, one of our Community Outreach partners. At Classroom Central’s Wilkinson Blvd. location, the group learned about the 4 main ways Classroom Central distributes school supplies then got right down to work. Counting and sorting pencils into storage bags wasn’t difficult but the group knew they were making a difference – that one day soon these pencils would end up in the hands of kids who really need them!
Below is a picture of the group. Check out the bins of pencils at their feet! Everyone agreed that this was a great way to start the week!

Based on the success of today’s event, the Community Outreach Committee will definitely plan additional volunteer opportunities. Watch your email for details about our next event before the end of the year.
